The Paul Mellon Centre's latest online edition of British Art Studies features this rather fascinating extended article by Hannah Lee entitled “Your Most Obedient and Faithful Servant”: Peregrine Tyam and the Representation of Black Sitters in Early Modern British Portraiture.
