Gurlitt's looted Matisse returned

The Art Newspaper reports that Germany has formally returned the first looted work from the collection of the late Cornelius Gurlitt. The Matisse, above, has been restituted to the heirs of Paul Rosenberg, from whom the picture was stolen by the Nazis in World War Two.
