I'm a little late to this story published by La Tribune de l'art earlier this month, that the Musée du Grand Siècle in Saint-Cloud have acquired Joseph Parrocel's Les Malheurs de la guerre. The work, acquired with funds raised by the museum's Les Amis, was purchased from the dealer Chistophe Janet for a mere 12,000 EUR.
