Hong Kong Baptist University are hiring a Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor in Art History.

According to the job description:

The Academy now invites applications for full-time faculty positions of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor in Art History, to enrich its teaching, research, and practice in the related areas with innovation, creativity and diversified pedagogical and research approaches.

Responsibilities:
-Operate independently at professional level within a fully equipped core facility and studios;
-Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses with interdisciplinary, experimental and expanded perspectives, including but not limited to art history, art appreciation, contemporary art studies, special topics of curatorial practices, any theoretical practices in other disciplines of ink art, ceramics, drawing and painting, etc.;
-Supervise individual student projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
-Work alongside other staff in the Academy and take an active part in organising and developing studio facilities and student projects, and in coordinating associated programmes (workshops, guest lectures, conferences, exhibitions, screenings, etc.);
-Conduct innovative research projects, secure extramural funding, and publish work actively in formats/venues as appropriate for their outputs; and
-Carry out administrative duties of the Academy as required.

No salary has been published, and applications must be in by 31st January 2025.
