Dulwich Picture Gallery acquires Rottenhammer Judgement of Paris

A reader has kindly been in touch with news that the Dulwich Picture Gallery have acquired Hans Rottenhammer's Judgement of Paris. Auction watchers will remember this painting appeared at Sotheby's London in December 2023 and failed to find a bidder with its estimate of £20,000 - £30,000. The note from the museum explains that it was 'A gift from the family of Charles Pettit, 2025.'
