The following painting of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, catalogued as 'French School 18th century', soared to €500,000 over its €20 - 30k estimate at Pandolfini in Florence yesterday (via @Mweilc). Laurent de La Hyre is the name ascribed to the painting by several accounts on social media.
