News from Australia that a sale of Old Masters from the Robert Compton Jones Collection in Woollahra, New South Wales, produced some rather impressive results on Monday. Paintings given and attributed to the likes of Jacopo di Cione, Neri di Bicci, The Master of Frankfurt, Francesco Guardi and Matthias Stomer performed well against their estimates.
